Meet the Ingredients
At AGARA, we believe great beer starts with great ingredients. That's why we source our raw materials from some of the most respected maltsters and hop growers in the world.
Our malt comes from three legendary suppliers: Simpsons Malt (UK), known for their heritage barley varieties and consistent quality; Weyermann (Germany), masters of specialty malts with over 140 years of experience; and Castle Malting (Belgium), who bring a unique continental character to our darker beers.
For hops, we cast a wide net. American varieties like Citra, Mosaic, Cascade, and Columbus give us those bold, tropical, and citrusy profiles our IPAs are known for. New Zealand hops — particularly Nelson Sauvin and Motueka — add exotic wine-like and lime notes. German noble hops provide the clean, floral bitterness for our lagers. Czech Saaz brings that classic pilsner character, while Slovenian Styrian Goldings add spicy, earthy complexity to our session beers.
We also use premium yeast strains selected for each beer style, along with Georgian mountain water — naturally soft and mineral-balanced, perfect for brewing.
Every ingredient is chosen with purpose. There are no shortcuts in our brewery, and you can taste the difference in every glass.
